Upon my very first interaction with Kathleen Carey, I knew I had found a source of knowledge in an area I knew nothing about. It didn't take much, other than being charged with 2 different counts of DUI, to remind me that I was not educated enough about my own rights in such matters, let alone processes going forth.
Kathleen laid the basics out, very matter-of-factly, without any flash or grandiose promise. I quickly learned the range of egregious potential actions I could be facing, along with the fines and penalties that could be tacked on, too. I also learned that there was more than one forum I would need representation in, let alone there were multiple pending deadlines that needed to be addressed. Kathleen also schooled me about my different rights should the situation ever occur again. I was given a timeline of court dates, instructions to follow, complete access of my case file, and asked to provide pertinent documentation as well. My case was treated with the individual respect and nature it deserved and not as a cattle call of cases running through the system.
Ultimately, I was cleared of both DUI charges. Kathleen Carey was exceptionally organized, concise with her approach, and honest at all times. I have nothing but the utmost respect for Ms. Carey and would highly recommend her services
