Suspension
By Conviction
When
a person is convicted of a DUI in Arizona, the court where the conviction
took place will get a copy of the abstract to the MVD. Once the
Motor Vehicle Division gets this information of your DUI conviction,
their internal policies will decide what happens next. If the drunk
driving conviction was a first offense in a five year time period,
the MVD will not take action because of the conviction if an administrative
license suspension has already been granted. In other words, it
may make more sense to accept the Administrative License Suspension
in certain cases. You need to ask an experienced DUI defense lawyer
to see if this applies to your case - CLICK
